The industrial donut machine RMT-480 is a four row automatic system built for factory-scale production. With a 30 litre hopper, twelve molds and output up to 1,900 pieces per hour, it serves wholesale bakeries, supermarket suppliers and food manufacturers producing donuts at volume rather than to order.

Four Rows, One Operator

The economics of an industrial donut machine come down to output per operator hour. Four rows run simultaneously from a single 30 L hopper, with automatic forming, frying, flipping and conveyor output across all rows. One operator loads batter and manages collection; the machine handles everything between.

Why the 30 L Hopper Matters

Smaller machines use a 7 L hopper, which requires refilling every few hundred pieces. At factory output rates that becomes the bottleneck. The RMT-480’s 30 L hopper runs substantially longer between refills, allowing the operator to focus on collection and packing rather than constant batter loading.

Integrating into a Production Line

The RMT-480 handles forming and frying. For a complete factory line you will also need finishing equipment — glazing or sugaring, filling injection for cream and jam products, cooling conveyor and packing. R&M supplies each of these as standalone units, and can specify a coordinated line around the RMT-480 or the larger yeast donut production line system.

Mini Donut Customisation

The RMT-480 can be configured for mini donut production, producing significantly higher piece counts per hour at the smaller 30–50 mm size. This suits operations supplying event catering, snack packs or retail multi-packs where piece count matters more than individual donut size.
